I remember a few weeks ago my ex mother in law, she goes by Mama Dukes—told me some rather exciting news.
You see, I decided to make a deal with someone whom I thought would do right by me…something went wrong with the 3rd party person which caused my friend to return empty handed.
Back to my ex mother in law & this exciting news—She told me that the guy I had invested in, felt bad for the money not coming back to me and he decided to take it upon himself to go out and make the money back and return it to me the following day!!
I never did see that money..and I won’t go into the other problems that has caused me as I don’t think it matters right now.
The point of all of that is to bring attention to what we say out of our mouths matters. It matters because we hang on to what is spoken. Words bring us hope. They bring us out of slumps. So to have money not bring back money that it was supposed to, and then be handed a new hope—feels like adding insult to injury.
The reason I’m writing this on a blog is there’s a big lesson to be learned here that so many of us forget or neglect when we give false information.
This next part is about me only & not intended to insult or hurt anyone
All I have in my life are my balls and my word, and all anyone else has around me has is their word. Because nothing else matters and everything else can be taken away or easily replaced. But My word, My word is my bond and is what keeps my integrity up.
The person I invested in came to me today and presented an opportunity to invest in me similar to the way I had invested in him.
I started writing feelings about that at the beginning of this blog — and I’m still not sure how to approach the situation.
